We had made a reservation at this much talked about restaurant which services Japanese Jamaican Fusion Cuisine. Such awesome flavors. Michelin worthy ! Taste buds are tingling for more. The service was prompt and friendly staff. We had a nice table by the window, which was nice. The food was delicious.

We had the full tasting menu and it was incredible. The food was delicious, and while perhaps not the cheapest meal it was incredibly good value for money. The staff were friendly and incredibly knowledgeable about the food (and the sake - very interesting!) and a pleasant atmosphere. Would absolutely go again and bring friends.

Conclusion: Ideal choice for a drink and accompanying food (though perhaps not for a hearty meal). If you are two or three people looking to have a quiet drink with something to nibble on, then come here and get a bottle of their recommended sake. Pros - Food and sake pairing was spot on. We did not order the makase set (only the sake tasting set) but the manager was able to pair our selections perfectly. - Perhaps one of the only places to find shochu with izakaya food - Maguro otoro was like a dream - Manager was very friendly and accommodating - you can really see his passion for the food, sake and establishment - Bathroom was as if teleported from Japan Cons - Portions are rather small - Items in the set did not include some of the more unique and tastier menu items - Gyukatsu could use a little less breading to bring out more of the beer flavour - It was hot and humid - more ventilation could have helped a lot - While bottles are a fair price considering the importing process, the glasses of sake are a bit expensive for the quantity.

Loved this place! Really great food, fine drinks and knowledgeable staff. And seriously, don't miss the Japanese toilets!!
