The best fresh made pasta in town! and above are it is all organic! and all the pasta types are so delicious! I strongly recommend anything with tomato sauce, because personally I love tomato very much, displacer made the sauce so flavorful! if you are cheese lover you can choose other types, also very good. And the wines they got are all organic as well, from southern Italy and perfect to pair the dishes. What a gem in the center glass house!

I’ve been trying to find good filled pasta since moving to Copenhagen. It’s been very hard to find. But I’m glad to say I have found a place that I will be visiting regularly. I had a mozzarella filled pasta with a butter sauce, who new something so simple could taste so good ( they’re also not skimpy on the Parmesan)
Being Italian and missing authentic pasta constantly it was fantastic to finally find a place like Il Mattarello, where the pasta and the sauces are authentic. I could tell the ingredients are fresh and of high quality. I recommend this place to both tourists and locals. Every time I go to the market I know that an amazing carbonara is waiting for me!!

The pasta was awfully salty. It was impossible to eat it. But they said it because of pecorino cheese and that’s all. Fully disappointed.
Had a lovely simple but delicious pasta dish here. We had a carbonara pasta and it was very tasty. The pasta was homemade and had a lovely texture which was soft and flavourful. The carbonara sauce was also delicate and not too strong, while the pieces of bacon were crispy and tasty (my only complaint would be there wasn’t enough of them). The fresh Parmesan cheese on top melted beautifully without overpowering the delicate taste of the sauce. It was the perfect dish on a cold wintery day, and is something I’d try again if ever back.
One of the best pastas I have ever tasted. This is a must try for anyone in Copenhagen
