This is my dim sum go to place in Copenhagen. Sure, there are others but this is the best in terms of quality and environment (unfortunately also slightly pricier). They have refined their menu throughout the years and while only having a small selection, the quality is really good. They have also been experimenting with dim sum using new ingredients. I prefer the traditional ones but that's just me being nostalgic. While you're there, don't miss their egg tart. It's as authentic as it can get and definitely worth the wait.

Had the testing menu of 9 dishes and enjoyed every single dish very much. Nice presentation, nice flavors and each dumpling had a nice twist of Nordic ingredient included in the dumpling. One included dill and another with kantereller. The chili which was served with the dumpling was spicy but matches very well to the dumplings as it was more a instant spiciness so that you could still taste the different flavors of the dumplings. The chili is also sold at the restaurant. The only two downsides I have about this place is, on a warm day like today the places is relatively humid inside the restaurant (but the place offer a few outdoor seats which I would recommend on a warm day). The other downside is that the food came waaay to quick! The waiters were very nice and knowledgeable but before you had stuffed one dumpling in your mouth the next one was already on the table. Before the main course (which was duck) was finished the dessert was already on the table. But I still Liked the place very much and look forward to returning soon again.

Caveat... this is Copenhagen… So comparatively, the restaurant is expensive and the selection is slightly limited compared to what you would get in New York for example. But having actually been to the golden dragon and eaten a fair share of dim sum, this place puts up a really great showing in a city that has pretty much nothing on offer. tasty and a nice overall experience. I will definitely be going back!!

Authentic Chinese / Cantonese dim sum. This is probably the best dim sum place in Copenhagen. I have been to a few other restaurants in the city, but none of them are as good as Hidden Dimsum. Cheung Fen is freshly made, and Ha Gau is done with perfection.

Great southern Chinese food, it's a hidden germ as the name suggests. We got just one dim sum: spicy dumplings with pork and peanut, although the skin is a bit fragile, it's tasty. Then we got the thick rice noodles in soya sauce fried with beef, a very classic Hong Kong dish, it's nicely done, with not too much sauce and moisture. Then we have the stewed egg plant with mince pork, Chinese mushroom and salted fish, very delicious and it is served with rice.
