The size and range of the collection is enough to enjoy and not be overwhelmed. The setting/ambiance of the location/site provides a striking contrast to the pieces presented. The café is inviting and the staff are quite friendly. The prices were reasonable, making it inviting to (do) sit and linger after viewing the exhibit.

As Denmark’s national design centre, it is the DDC’s mission to promote the use of design in business and industry, to help professionalise the design industry and to document, promote and brand Danish design in Denmark and abroad. In other words, the DDC aims to ensure the best possible meeting between the supply and demand sides in the design field. This means that we are not open to the general public and have no public facilities such as exhibitions, shop or café. Instead, we recommend a visit to Designmuseum Danmark.
