A very busy Hostel but well located on the waterfront and easy to get into the centre and all the attractions. We visited in August and it was very busy so if you are looking for a chilled out vibe then this is not the place for you. We had problems at Check In and the luggage room was full meaning we had to pay to leave our luggage at the train station. The room was clean and the breakfast was delicious - it was very busy though with more of a crowd control feel than laid back affair. The view from our room, however, made up for these minor inconveniences.

Great hostel for a good price, especially considering the location. Right at the waterfront and close to the center of Copenhagen. Staff was very helpful and friendly. This place is perfect for young people who want to have a great experience without spending lots of money. It's clean as well. For sure, I'll come back there when I visit Copenhagen.
Had a great stay at the Danhostel, the rooms were clean and minimalist, plenty of room for 2 adult and 3 children in a 6 bedded room. Brilliant views of the city and river. The staff were very helpful and helped arrange tickets for Tivoli gardens and given advice when there. I would recommend Danhostel for a trip to Copenhagen but please remember it's a hostel and not a hotel. You do have to make your own beds.
I stayed in a room with terrible beds and pillows that had no interior hence my head would just fall flat, not allowing me to sleep for the whole night. For a 600 dkk one night I say that this is just terrible. Would never come here again.
Friendly service, very clean and comfortable. Not fancy has everything you need. Would stay again.
40 per bed x 10 beds? And they can't offer even some cornflakes or toast? If a hotel received 400 for a basic room, they would make your bed and include a full breakfast. Owners are way to profit hungry. Staff are lovely thus the extra star.

A very clean and spacious hostel. The location is the best! Everything in the city was walking distance except to and from the airport. I stayed in a 6 person mixed room and felt quite comfortable, sharing the shower and toilet between the 6 of us was not an issue. Also the view from the room was amazing. I highly recommend this place for any young travelers!
