Dancenter will NOT refund my deposit for a rental in Bornholm even after all of Denmark has shut down for the pandemic. Do you think the people of Bornholm want people from Copenhagen visiting during the holidays? With the new restrictions in December 2020 Dancenter should be refunding the deposit and discouraging travel.

They have nice houses for rent, not cheap, but great locations. Then when you arrive and need to pay expensive charges (10% of rent amount) and then when you are home, they charge you a ridiculous amount of energy and water charges (15% of rent amount). No specification and after lot of mails they say that it is in line with other energy usage....so this house has a annual energy bill of 5.000 euro! WOW. So be carefull they are not cheap and then you still need to pay 25% on top of the rent amount! Look for different rental agency that is more honest about charges.

Potentially criminal business. They cancelled the vacation rental, but won’t refund the pre-payment. Unlawful! Stay away...

An outdated business model. Complex to rent from, with tons of inconveniences related to keys pickup, and extra fees for electricity/water/cleaning. Encountered the cottage dirty when we arrived, and then the company staff demanded higher cleaning standards from us when we left. Go to airbnb.com and get some inspiration on how it's done.

I booked for 6 nights at Dancenter with an insurance for cancellation. Belgian citizens are not allowed to enter the country. They cancel one day before arrival and they don’t refund. Big scam!!

DO NOT RENT FROM THEM! We had a huge problem with this rental company. Worst customer service of my life. Will never ever rent from them again. No refund and no alternative rental house offered. Could not reach the local office by phone during business hours. When we complained to the main office, the local office lied about the temperature in the house and when we persisted, they then made up lies that we left the house dirty, which we did not. Save yourself the trouble and stay away. Here's the full story: on a Thursday, we rented a car, packed up everything with my wife and 1 year old daughter, then drove to the rented house. When we got there, it was about 20:00. The heat pump was on already, but it was about 15C. We unpacked, turned the heat up a little and tried to start a fire in the stove, until we noticed it was unsafe to have a hot fire because the tile was fallen off the wall behind the stove and our baby right on the other side of the wall. We waited 3 hours, hoping the heat pump would work, but the temperature did not change. So we packed up everything, woke up our baby and drove back home to Copenhagen, and finally were in bed at 1am. In addition to the non-functional wood stove, the beds were in bad shape and there was a huge gap in the middle of the bed. Also, the dishwasher did not have a front cover.
