Not the largest playground in Copenhagen, but definitely the best free of charge open air playground area in the whole city! And possibly the whole country. I Brough my 2 y.o. twice there and both days she was the happiest kid on this Earth - playing with the many municipality owned bikes and small cars, enjoying the swings and the sandboxes. The best of all is that this playground is located on the outskirts of Christianshavn and it is only popular and know by the residents of the area the kindergartens. This is one of the few playgrounds in Copenhagen with crew on the site - they even have their maintenance house in there. Those are keeping the bathrooms clean and making sure there is no broken equipment. No dogs allowed - as in every other playground in Denmark. However, some dog owners do bring their dogs pretty close to the playground which is divided only by bushes-fence from the outer world.

Best, I repeat best free playground facilities I have ever been to. Endless selection of bikes, trikes and scooters (even for big people), balls, bats and racquets, basketball, tennis, football. Colouring and craft for when it's raining, and computer and internet facilities. Outside playground is high quality and provides variable play opportunities. Highly recommend a visit if you are ever in Denmark.
