We enjoyed a lovely week in Copenhagen staying at Hotel Christian IV, during which time we got married in the city. Our stay in the hotel was lovely, everything you could need, but without the "big standard/corporate hotel" feeing. The staff were all very friendly and extremely helpful, especially surrounding our wedding day. We cannot thank them enough. We will definitely go back to this hotel when we visit Copenhagen in the future – an easy recommendation.

Description of hotel is correct. All equipment and servise is on very high level. Price is very fair! Breakfast was also fine and very acceptable. Only think I have to claim is very noisy elevator, which is possible to hear whole night... I can recommend this hotel!
The hotel was very comfortable and well-maintained. Complimentary breakfast was excellent. The staff was friendly and fluent in English. The room was small by USA standards, but locals told this was typical of Danish hotels. Total space including bathroom was about 25 square meters or about 200 square feet. Wifi is not encrypted.
Shameful Our flight was canceled due to the Covid-19 health crisis and no refunds or date changes to be offered by the hotel.

This charming hotel is just a few steps away from the entrance to King’s Garden, which will take you to Rosenborg Castle. It is a pretty hotel offering clean rooms featuring en-suite bathrooms, a fresh and well stocked breakfast, friendly staff, and a premier location. Restaurants, grocery, and pharmacy are within walking distance. This place has a very cozy neighborhood atmosphere, yet theaters and museums are just a good stretch of the legs from the hotel. Public transportation is also fairly close. We stayed in a small double, but we were perfectly happy with the room. It was very clean. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. There is a mini fridge which is convenient. The bathroom was well stocked, clean, and maintained. There is a small elevator which is very convenient. The little library was a very thoughtful consideration to guests as well. Hotel Christian IV is not a luxury hotel, but it is a very convenient and affordable hotel with wonderful staff. My husband and I throughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to staying there again on our next visit to Copenhagen.
