Overall the food is good and the beer is cold at this popular cafe in the heart of \Frederiksstaden\. Today I ordered Fish'n'chips. It tastes good but in my opinion there were too much green (salad) and chips and (a little bit) too little fish. In the tourist seasons it can be very crowded and that might affect the place but today it was moderate and the service was good.

Like a little French bistro Cafe Oscar serves simple yet delicious dishes, there is a small selection of smørrebrød, soup of the day, burgers and more. There are Danish beers on tap and Belgian beer on the bottles. We had the soup of the day and fish and chips when we visited and both delicious. Seriously considering coming back for dinner one night.
This café offers traditional smoergasbroed (open sandwiches on rye bread), burgers, and a variety of other options. Service was fast and friendly. Also a good place to just have a cup of coffee.
This was amazing!! The best open sandwich I've had in Copenhagen. Great food, great service, and a great atmosphere! Get the fish open sandwich, it was amazing!
Visited Copenhagen in April of this year. This is what a danish breakfast looks like. So many different flavours going on, was an incredible final breakfast but the sad departure home. Top notch.
Nice café! We were lucky to get a table and have some good lunch there. The waiting staff was very attentive. We ordered potato chips for our son, which came with some chili mayonnaise, but one of the waitresses immediately realized that this wasn't the right thing for a child and brought some ketchup. We left full and happy!
Food was good although most food was not authentic. The portion was large. Few types of beer.
A safe choice! Tasteful burgers (rib eye also) plus a variety of beers at an honest price. The service was excellent.
