Probably the best Børnehave around Vesterbro. My daughter is still in Vuggestue so this review will be of that, not of the Børnehave side. Unlike other places I've been to, it doesn't smell sharply of poop as soon as you walk in. Children are put to sleep in a huge fancy garage-like covered area that allows for fresh air while they lie in big warm prams. Inside, the rooms are brightly lit rooms with huge glass walls through which you can see everything. So before you even get to the rooms, you can see if your child is crying or playing. The day care providers (caretakers/teachers?) Have been nothing less than professional, loving and yet stern when needed. Little kids go to them for hugs and tell them they will miss them before vacations. I typically stay about half an hour before I drop my daughter off (to make sure she doesn't cry right after i leave) and before I pick her up (to discuss with them my daughter's sleeping habits, I needed help!) and they've always been helpful. They have a huge bathroom with toddler toilets for kids that are potty training and two big clean changing mats. One of the best things about this place is the cleanliness. I have never walked in to the smell of poo, or a diaper lying around, or other such mess lying around. Everything is cleaned and sanitized immediately. My second favourite bit is how they take the children out almost every day (weather permitting). They take them for walks, to several parks and if the weather does not allow this, they go in the back or the roof that is safely full of toys and slides and swings, etc. If the weather is real bad, they get to go to the theatre room where they dance and sing or play skits, or to the pillow room where there are lots of soft pillows or mattresses they can bounce around. I give it 5/5 because when I drop my daughter off, I am not worried or stressed. That's worth it all :)
