I'll never come here again. Bad smell and remain dirty on just washed jacket. Why isn't here Zero or minus star??

240Kr for washing and drying of up to 4kg of laundry! Suffice to say, I had well under 4kg; however, the chronic lack of laundrettes in Copenhagen necessitated using this service. Aside from this, my entire experience here was very strange. Upon entering, I asked if I could use the laundry service and was told by a rather miserable man that they didn't have a laundry service - despite the word \laundry\ being written in English in the window. Initially, I couldn't tell if he was trying (and failing) to be funny in a sarcastic manner; however, within seconds and without explaining, he took my bag of laundry, indicating that they do it rather than me. When he asked me when I wanted it back, I said \as soon as possible\, to which he replied \what does that mean? Today?\ - as if for such a price it would be reasonable to have to wait an entire day. Not only is the price scandalous, but when I went to collect the washing a few hours later, items were inside out and folded badly. Furthermore, in a city where even the kebab houses accept credit and debit cards, this may be the only business that doesn't. The only redeeming elements of my experience were that the washing and drying was done within 4 hours and the young man I collected the laundry from was significantly more pleasant than the older man I dealt with earlier in the day. I did find a self-service laundrette in Frederiksberg later that day - I could have gone there by cab and still had change!

This is not a laundromat but a dry cleaning service. The laundromat is to be found almost at the end of the same road (away from the main central street of the city)

gruff service, took 2 days to get 3 shirts done. TWO DAYS. When I picked them up they were pressed, but dirtier than when I'd dropped them off. No credit card facilities. Recommend to AVOID this place.

Has anybody here seen Can't Buy Me Love? You know the part where Cindy Mancini goes to that party wearing the perfect silk outfit she \borrowed\ from her mom and then some douchebag spills wine on it and the dry cleaner says it's going to cost a thousand dollars to get the stain out? My experience at Alaska Vask & Rens was nothing like that. Except for the stain part. And the silk part. Here's how it went. Had a party to celebrate my 30th birthday. Had this killer silk dress on (yes, it had pockets). Went to wash a couple dishes. Kitchen faucet had unpredictable water pressure and BAM, just like that, grease stains all over my awesome silk dress. Happy Birthday Indeed. I get a discount on dry cleaning through my company if I am willing to abandon my belongings in the basement of our building and trust they'll come back eventually. I simply was not willing to take the risk this time. And so I found myself standing in Alaska Vask & Rens, justifying that it must be good if it's named after a state as beautiful as Alaska, probably with a pretty pathetic look of desperation on my face. I begged for them to try hard to remove the stains, and then bid godspeed to my silk and hoped for the best. Listen you guys. Not only did the brave strong men of Alaska Vask & Rens get rid of the grease stains, they also got rid of some discoloration that had happened after a moisture incident while traveling in my suitcase a couple months ago. How thrilled am I? Pretty freakin' thrilled. Moral of the story? I realize people rarely travel out of their way for dry cleaning. I don't either. But if you live in the area, and have some stained shirts or something, I HIGHLY recommend these guys.

Had a bit of a bad surprise due to miscommunication the first time I went there, but Tom the manager fixed that. Nice job, OK price.

My duvets came back smelling weird, something between old and burnt.
