Stumbled upon Alfons' while looking for another place and was immediately attracted by the soft lights and welcoming interior. Perfect balance of music, lights, comfort and such good wine! Service is impeccable - we were given samples and explanations until we were perfectly happy. Will come back again and again!

Cosy atmosphere but unfortunately not the greatest wine selection, nor the most knowledgeable waiter and a slightly obscure pricelist. We got charged 210kr for two glasses one weekend, and the next week, the same were charged to us 100kr cheaper. Be also aware that your booking is time limited and they can just kick you out when this happens, no matter if the next booking shows up or not.
Nice location and decor but I wasn't impressed at all with their concept of not having a wine menu. Putting the customers entirely at the mercy of the staff - who don't appear to exactly be someliers and without their being transparency of the prices they charge - which in my opinion were far too high for what I believed to be quite mediocre wines.

Cozy wine bar on the edge of the meat packing district. Knowledgeable and friendly staff and great selection of wines. Jens and Fernando were so welcoming it made for an amazing start to our Europe trip
A quaint wine bar with good service and a cosy atmosphere. The small \balcony\ room towards the back is perfect for four friends to sit, enjoy some wine and maybe the sun coming in the windows. With only one toilet (up some stairs) it could become uncomfortable if a very busy night.
