Cities Innovation Center is located in Kongens Lyngby, Denmark on Building 303, Asmussens Allé. Cities Innovation Center is rated 3 out of 5 in the category institute in Denmark. CITIES Innovation Center is a joint initiative by pioneers dedicated to further the green transition towards 100% renewables in Denmark and beyond and across traditional boundaries. We are actors from the Danish industry, academia and public sector, and our watchwords are integrated energy systems powered by intelligent use of data. CITIES Innovation Center conducts projects with the aim to increase the storage and flexibility capabilities of the energy system so that 100% renewable energy supplies are both possible and attractive. The vision of 100% renewable urban energy systems by 2050, will be possible thanks to fully integrated energy systems powered by smart data. Lower energy consumption and greater reliability of supply are only some of the immediate benefits for the industry and wider society. We have already tested a variety of solutions on integration across Denmark. It is actually not that difficult for cities to become free from fossil fuels.
