This is my/our first review, where we needed to calm down before writing our feedback. Let us start with the stunning architecture and the beauty of the location. Worth a five star review. A quite, beautifully designed and well maintained place. Very tasteful. The staff knows their business. Friendly, professional and fast. Now, let’s talk about our dinner. In all my years of travelling, dining at good or bad places -from junk food to 3 stars I have never seen and observed a bigger gap between promising expectations and reality. We started with 2 Gin-Tonic. At a place with this level I would have expected to be asked “which Gin and what kind of Tonic?”. Neither we have been asked nor we were able to chose. For dinner we started with the fried rice chips and salted almonds. The fried rice chips came with 2 variations of sauce. Not bad not good and 3-4 stars are reasonable. Main: 2 times the steaks with fries, salad (medium) and Bernaise . The steak had no taste at all. Dry and overcooked. It tasted like “pre cooked / bleau” and when ordered 1 minute in the pan. The sauce Bernaise had a texture of slime. The red wine cold and with a strong acid taste. Fries cold inside and everything but not crispy. Let’s not talk about the salad and the oversized salad/lettuce leaves. A disappointing dinner experience. The service in particular excluded from the 1 star food rating.

Best SPA place in Denmark! I went to great northern spa with my boyfriend and we totally loved it. Defiantly gonna come back for the relaxing massage, the different types of pools and the all in all experience.

This place is an absolute gem. It's one of those rare places in life you get to visit and reflect on how lucky you feel to be there. Clearly the owners spared no expense building the place and it's clear the staff share the pride and passion fully. Absolutely delicious food and surprisingly affordable prices compared to the quality. I can't wait to come back!

Great Northern is the place to visit if you want too feel abroad for only a couple of days. As soon as you enter the wonderful gate, with the gorgeous driveway. You feel welcome. And the best part, every single person working there. Will make sure you're stay is important for you. If you haven't been here. You should!
