If you are looking for proper insurance and service, avoid IF.

I’m very disappointed. We called to set up 3 new insurances and renew the fourt we already had. We thought that everything had been explained correctly over the phone but when we looked at the agreements we noticed that IF had made a mistake. Not only did they not renew the already existing insurance but they put the wrong account number for where the monthly payments would be withdrawn. So we called to correct the mistake and Jacob promised to fix this by cancelling the insurances and then set up an entire new police for all four insurances. I tripple checked that we were in agreement with what was going on. After a couple of hours we receive what we thought was the new police for the agreement, but no, he only renewed the already existing insurance and didn’t bother doing anything about canceling, even though he said that he had a lot of time. So we called again and unfortunately was faced with a woman that didn’t want to listen to us and instead recommended us to contact our bank to change our payment accounts. She didn’t want to cancel the already set up agreements and do it properly the way that we requested. So we called another insurance company and gladly accepted their lower offer for the same insurances and called back to IF and cancelled all insurances. So hopefully, fingers crossed, they will actually do what we ask from them this time. A large company as IF should be careful with how they respond to their customers. It is thanks to how the 4 people we spoke with at the service department, and how they handled the issue, that made us decide to leave.
