We were stranded in Hirtshals as tourists coming from Norway on our way home to the Netherlands. Our car had some issues that needed to be fixed, otherwise we were not able to drive any further. We contacted this VW dealer and explained the situation. He only had time after 1.5 week! Once again, we explained we are tourists and were in a hurry, as we have duties back home. But he said he could not help us. It's a miracle how a Volkswagen dealer in a small town with (relatively) no big cities in the area is this 'busy'. Not being able to help tourists (which in my opinion are priority over daily reparations) stunned us. This is either a sign of laziness or a sign that this dealer just does not have the right capacity, if the waiting time (even for tourists) is 1.5 weeks... As a consequence, we had to stay in Hirtshals for 2 days while another (small and private) car garage fixed our car. This was a lot of extra trouble for us as no one spoke English in this garage, however, we appreciated them a lot because at least they helped us...

I was on holiday and had a problem with my T4. The man at the service desk said that they can check (not repair!) the problem „maybe today, maybe tomorrow, maybe next week“. I asked that I only have to know if I can go further on (maybe to the next VW service station 70 km away), the answer was „I am sorry“. One star to a lady at the office desk who heard the discussion and brought us to a Bosch service station 2 km away.
