In 2016, SSI Diagnostica was bought by Adelis Equity – a change of ownership, which has led to increased investment in and focus on our R&D activities, our commercial department as well as our manufacturing facilities and equipment. Our overall mission is to improve microbiological diagnostics for the benefit of both patients and society as a whole. We do that by supplying better and quicker diagnostics, working closely with our many customers, focusing on providing high-quality products based in our long history and our expertise, as well as providing solutions which help to prevent resistance to antibiotics globally. SSI Diagnostica’s turnover is approximately DKK 162m (2018 figures) and employs more than 100 people, who are primarily located at our Hillerød headquarters. We are ISO 13485 certified and we have taken out several patents based on the products developed by our R&D department.
