Thanks to Corona times the place was relatively empty. This place is amazing and the guides are so passionate. Free flat bread and smokey conversations. The film in the large museum building is brilliant. The shop has wonderful gifts, some amazing discounts, and my favourite: mead.

Fun experience, mostly catered for family with kids rather than all ages. Entry fee is high considering the limited activity/things to see.

If you around you must visit this place. Beautiful Viking village where you can walk around in the past....

This place is nothing like where I’ve ever been before. This Viking settlement is a MUST-VISIT when traveling to Denmark, it was probably one of the highlights of my trip! I learned about the people who “live” there, and it’s an organization, and members come every weekend (when they can) and live like the Vikings did (garments, lifestyle, food, and all!) It definitely feels like you’ve been jolted back in time here. Also, this place is great for children AND adults (I think my dad and I spent about an hour and a half here!) Make sure to talk to the people living there, they are super friendly, and answered a lot of the questions we asked, and just made friendly conversation :)

Nice area that allows to imagine how the vikings lived. The Staff is friendly and helpful and could explain how the fish was prepared and the glass beads are made.
