THE BEST MUSEUM I’ve been so far. The museum is very interactive and educative, always keep you engaging! I spent 2.30 hr over there and it was so worth it. Sometimes I even felt confused if this is also an art museum because the display was set up so well that I could learn about ships and appreciate decorations at the same time!

Nice museum with a bit of everything from the ocean. Starts out a bit dull, but bear with it and alot of interesting stories and models appear. If you like ship models, this is the place for you! Everything from the big containers to the small sailboats. You can easily spend half a day here.

One can never get enough of the splendor of this place...

Watch out the leaning floor. We both got motion sick. Maybe this was the intended feeling... The Museum itself is pretty interesting, though not outstanding. They could have exploited way better the location in an old dismissed boathouse

We really liked this museum. It’s in a cool building that is in a dry dock. Well worth a visit and included with the Copenhagen card. The exhibits were beautifully designed and all worked well. A nice shop too with lots of unusual Scandinavian gifts.

Beautiful museum depicting Denmark's history with ships and the different times it had to see from inception, explorations, war and trade. Cost: 60, time required is around 3 hours. Different interactions mechanisms are used to make it captivating from audio, video, touch, games and learnings. Exact Model of ships around (1:100) or different are used. Play area for kids and small souvenir shop exist. Locker is provided free of cost for keeping coats and bags. Bags are not allowed inside. Wheel chair can be provided by museum, if required.

An amazing museum, full of information, stories and lots of interaction. The architecture is unique and draws you in. There is a wealth of information to read, meaning you will need a few hours or you'll have to visit more than once. The big kid in me loved all of the interactive exhibits and simulations. Displays are different in every section and you are forced to explore. The media and sounds enhance the experience. The cafe is heavy on seafood, but there are a couple of non-seafood options. The coffee is quite good as well.
