Marienlyst strand- & Badehotel – et moderne badehotel med historisk romantik og moderne stilfuldhed i skøn forening. Og med havet lige uden for døren. Hotellet er opkaldt efter Frederik den Femtes dronning, Juliane Marie, og blev grundlagt i 1861. Hotellet blev hurtigt anerkendt i hele Europa og havde blandt de prominente gæster både fyrster og kongelige foruden den københavnske overklasse, der drog op langs kysten for at nyde sommeren ved Øresund. Hver uge kunne man i den lokale avis tilfredsstille sin nysgerrighed for glamourøse nyheder ved at lade blikket løbe ned over den lange liste over nyankommne gæster til Hotel Marienlyst. Hotellet tiltrak også både Kong Christian den Niende og hans bror Prins Hans, som boede hver sommer i hotellets fornemme værelse nr. 15. Den russiske zar spiste frokost med hele sit følge, og prinsen af Wales nød en god middag i restauranten. Kronprins Frederik, den senere Kong Frederik VIII, gav hotellet privilegier til at flage med splitflag, benytte kongekrone i sit bomærke og til at drive casino, og dermed var Casino Marienlyst det første casino i Danmark.

Very nice hotel, very nice location and has great view to the sea. The white sand beach just is in front of the hotel. The staff was very nice and the service is good. Beautiful view outdoor specially if the weather is good. Most of the room has veranda facing to the water.

Even though it's expensive, you're really getting your money's worth! There is a nice view of the sea. Their offered facilities include a swimming pool, two infinity pools, a bubble pool, fitness room, sauna's, a fire place, a meditation/relaxation room, and a kid's play room with a dart board, ping pong and foosball table and more. They also offer activities like guided Yoga, morning beach workout etc., and you have the option to go kayaking. The breakfast is really good, and although the lunch/dinner menu does not contain a large amount of dishes, the dishes themselves are delectable and really fresh! The staff is exceptionally friendly, and the rooms are generally clean.

Amazing hotel. Our experience was wonderful. We will be back for sure! We even wanted to extend our mini vacation but everything was booked so...Tip*Make your reservation well in advance as this place is mostly to be fully booked!

We were absolutely delighted when we were welcomed by a beautiful room with a stunning beach view. The marble decor for the bathroom area was nicely done, and the spacious interior design went perfectly with the ocean view, which spread across the horizon from end to end. Breakfast was served in a large hall, and the resort itself offered much to be explored. Definitely one of the most memorable and pleasant stays that we have had.

Went for a small Tuesday evening snack and we were very pleasently surprised. It was our first time in the cafe and we didn't have any expectations. But the food was great, service was very nice and we obviously enjoyed the night-time view of the ocean. Recommended

Great Spa facilities and very nice service all around the hotel. We booked the stay package with dinner, spa and breakfast included and we do recommend to just stay for the weekend if possible. It is allowed to use the spa the checking out day although could be quite packed so be aware and ask for the extra lockers. Booked any massages in advance as well if you are really up for it, otherwise they might be fully booked when you get there.

I loved this place so much as my labs consortium booked a large part of it for a week. Little "private" beach, amazing view, possibility to make bbq as there was a fire place near the beach, spa was just awesome as was the food and service! Jacuzzis, infinity pool, large pool, multiple saunas (exterior and interior) and so on! It totally worth it!!! The staff was very professional and friendly by the way!
