I have been coming to Søhøjlandet for the past five years with students to celebrate the end of the school year and I have never been disappointed. The center has actually improved each year as they are always renovating the facilities. This is a brilliant place to visit. It is very clean, very safe and very affordable.
This is the best Landal I have been to; the parc is set up in its natural environment, there is a lot of space. Houses are as one would expect at Landal. Location is great, Silkeborg just 15 mins away. Running, MTB, cycling and exploring the lake area are super options.
A good base for trips to Aarhus, Viborg and Silkeborg. Updated playgrounds, and activities for kids. Try there mountain biking tracks. Do your shopping in the town of gjern 5 min away from Landal.
Fantastic resort out in the woods. Really quiet and clean, just like the rest of Denmark actually, here for work but afterwards it feels like a holiday. Very nice and friendly people, we've been made very welcome indeed. Quiet and safe roads too. And the Danes make great beer too !
Great family park to stay in a relax scenery. The park is situated very nice nearby woods, well designed, spacious and has excellent facilities for kids and the whole family. We stayed in an 8-person house which was modern and complete. But not so clean for which we requested an extra cleaning of the residence. Therefore not 5 stars. It would be better if the staff would improve their protocol on this and make a final round before checkout to see how clean/dirty others leave it behind.
I have only tried the family cabins for 8 people. The cabins are nice, clean and comfortable. Good access for sun outside. Lots of outside playing area for kids. The pool has a much to bright light from sealing,so bring your sunglasses. But hey,totally OK pool for one day. Good free WiFi
