Lovely quiet place with a beautiful seaview. Zero intoxication but lots of yummy organic vegetarian food. Teachings of philosophy, astrology, Vedic health systems and art. If you're looking for mental growth and self-development this is a nice place to go. The local area offers nice views, a popular ice-cream shop and a all year open sauna with available day tickets.

Nice place, with modern buildings. Just to the sea, and with beautiful nature nearby. Very good vegetarian food. You learn a lot about about health, with much practical and useful advice from Maharishi Ayurveda; and also from Vedic Astrology. You can also develop your creative skills in the art class, and practice singing and playing an instrument. On the long courses, students are also offered to learn Transcendental Meditation, which is very effective for reducing stress and open up for inner positive resources.
The best place!!!....my refuge. ...once in a while I come and become renewed in and out.... love it here...best people ...best food...best frendships.....BEST teachings and topics. you learn how to meditate...and eat heathy after 5000 years old Indian medicin knowledge AYUR VEDA....you become clear in your body and minde...best place to get peace in your minde....this time I was here only 3 days but feel so peacful.Thank you to the dear staff and the volenteers.
My adventure with the school is somehow brilliant. This is where my spiritual and creative journey took its beginning 12 years ago. Since then, I am coming back to this place as a volunteer feeling myself always welcomed and appreciated, if not loved. Schools environment, withdrawn from worldly life and its concerns creates perfect frame for getting yourself establish into the habit of meditating every day, that otherwise is so difficult to achieve in our everyday hectic life. It gives a possibility to go deep into yourself and gradually connect with your entire being. Trough the different faculties at school we started to uncover the unlimited creativity and beauty that resides within us, learn how to take care of ourselves in the health classes and what is the value and significance of a good slow life without anxieties and stress. We have learn that on a deeper levels we are all fearless and indestructible. School might seem a bit untraditional in a way where wisdom and intuition comes before being smart or clever and where wholehearted attitude towards community comes before „I pay therefore I demand”. This approach creates a unique environment that I could only compare it with living in Ashram in India. It is a place of inner growth, insight and support on the path towards enlightenment. Long course was a beginning of a life changing experience that was set in motion 12 years ago and is still going on… Since that my life acquired a depth I had never dreamed of. What I have learned at school I learned for life. And I will always be grateful for it.

Fik under mit besøg på højskolen i sommeren 2019 en spændende rundvisning af højskoleforstander Ole Blenkov. En super smukt beliggende højskole med udsigt til havet og med direkte adgang til vandrestier langs vandet. Dejlige lyse undervisningslokaler med masser af plads. Fik desuden tilbudt frokost og aftensmad, som var sammensat af lækkert tilberedt ayurvediske retter. Der er dedikerede lokaler til musik, kunstnerisk aktivitet, forelæsninger etc. God stemning og kompetente lærere. Jeg kan kun anbefale et ophold her.
