Super positive experience. The appointment was really easy and Pernille was informative and reassuring. The ultrasound image quality was better than we expected. We are really happy with the images/videos we got. I would completely recommend Spire.

I don’t know how safe/responsible this business is when they don’t disclose risks, even if the risks are minor. The technician told us there are absolutely NO risks. But that is incorrect, it is actually more complicated than that and there are some risks even if they are minor. It is our right to be told about these risks, when we specifically ask if there are risks. She did not go over the risks- the primary one being temperature increase to the tissue, and it also seemed because she did not go over that one risk with us which is documented in medical literature, she also did not go over how she minimizes that risk- such as by using the least energy and spending the least time possible- so I don’t know if they even care about that aspect of scanning. This clinic seems completely geared to just taking videos and doing high power scans to visually please the parents while not discussing the risks. Seems to be a bad business model for the thing they are scanning/blasting with high frequency sound waves and potentially causing tissue heating of over 1.5 C. They should disclose that. I don’t think the technician used the minimum amount possible. We recall her leaving the device on for the entire several minutes we were there- meaning there was probably tissue heating taking place. Thank god, we didn’t go with the 3D or 4D option. So hopefully, if someone is reading this BEFORE they get scanned up- they can dig further on their own and not listen to this BUSINESS, which is trying to sell videos and pictures of something they are potentially heating. We are pretty scientific and we trust the medical system over alternative medicine quackery. But it is very well documented in peer-reviewed studies that ultrasound waves do cause tissue heating, and there is some risk associated with tissue heating of over 1.5 Celsius. The technician/business seemed to have no idea or clue and seemed to not care to disclose any of that.

My visit at Spire was nothing but pleasant. The atmosphere was very intimate and cosy, and Pernille was both very informative and professional, and reassuring and caring. The results of the test ordered came in as promised and very properly explained both beforehand and as they arrived. Moreover, Pernille helped me choose the right option for me with objective and clear information. All in all, money and time well spent.
Pernille was very patient and nice to me when I went in for the second scan even though my baby wasn’t hidden even more. She took lots of scans and for the price I highly recommend it because it comes with a report and she can thoroughly answer any questions. Other places don’t offer a second time or as much patience as she had. Tak Pernille
Behagelig, professionel og supergod behandling har vi fået hos Spire de 3 gange vi har været der. Pernille som scannede os, er super dygtig. Hun ved rigtig meget om det hun laver, og man føler sig derfor i tryg og i gode hænder hos hende. Hun giver sig god tid til at tjekke fosteret/barnet grundigt igennem, og fortæller hvad hun ser og gør. Derudover har de hos Spire virkelig godt udstyr hvilket gør, at man man får nogle rigtig gode og tydelige billeder med derfra. Man får små videosekvenser samt billeder tilsendt på mail, så du kan downloade dem. Jeg kan varmt anbefale spire :-)
Vi fik lavet en 3D-scanning og det i sig selv er en helt fantastisk oplevelse. Det var Pernille fra Spire der udførte den, og hun var så grundig og tålmodig og meget forklarende, at vi følte os trygge hele vejen igennem. Derudover fik vi cirka 100 billeder og videoer tilsendt på mail af vores lille kommende vidunder :)
