Excellent food and service, wine card was one of the biggest I've seen and atmosphere was cozy. The menu is arranged for you to take several different dishes which let's you try out lots of delicious food like tartar, cream chanterelle (flødestuvet kantareller), beef, fois gras, vegetarian and basically something for every taste. Portions are medium sized, so you need more than one, and sharing is also a good idea. Tables and chairs could be bigger and a bit more comfortable and the place was quite loud, but food was as mentioned excellent, the wine was too and service was also superb.

Cozy, intimate and unpretentious Mêlée puts together a series French inspired bites of heaven with divine wine to follow. The staff is attentive, kind, down to earth, and seems to know their wine selection inside out (they even have one with a bouquet of olives, who figured), and the best beef tartare I’ve had - and I should know. The beef onglet drowns in sauce, but is cleverly served family style easy for two to enjoy.

Awsome food (French), fantastic wine list (French), brilliant service and Danish ambiance: the perfect combo. Place is small, so reservations are a good idea

The food was fantastic but the waiter unfortunately ruined the experience. The third bottle of wine we ordered for a party of four was opened across the table - sniffed - and handed to me across the other guests with a \here you go\. There was no opportunity to taste the wine, or have the wine poured for us, we did it ourselves. The waiter was rude which is not what one expects at such a restaurant. I wrote to the restaurant thereafter informing of the different incidents the waiter did along the night, during our evening but never received a reply. Very unlikely we will return or recommend.

My third visit, had the 3 course Mon-Thu menu along with 2 other diners. One of the diners wished to exchange from the starter, which was no problem and at no surcharge. This was my best visit so far, which made this a clear home run at 5 stars, with the two previous visits being between 4 and 5 star worthy. Wine and food was matched seemingly effortlessly, breaks between courses were not to long or to short, preparation was absolutely perfect, service was vibrant and alive but professional... basically can't put a finger on anything. I'll be coming back.

A very small casual restaurant with good food. The menu is very, very limited with 4-5 main dishes per night. Tables are 1-2 feet apart so be prepared to over hear from the folks at the next table. It is very loud (my sound meter showed 78-82 dB) so it is hard to hear the person across the table.

Don't go, we would like there to always be a table for us and perhaps a couple of friends... Magnificent on a Monday.
