The Queen lives here! The park is really nice and the walk along the lake is beautiful, in all seasons! I especially enjoy the colours of the trees in the fall. The palace garden is definitely worth a visit. The royal guard is on duty here, and you can see them patrolling the palace.

Served as Danish Royal Family's Spring and Autumn Resistance, Fredensborg Slot is a fabulous Palace, located in a pretty town. We were very lucky to be at the right place at the right time by watching the Royal Cavalry marching out of the Palace.

Beautiful castle and park belonging to the royal family. It's always lovely to make a walk there!

A very nice place to take a walk, beautiful trees alongside the pathways.

Pretty cool place. Did not get a chance to go inside as the palace was closed for visitors at that time. However, spent some time around and in the gardens and that was great. Very beautiful place with lush gardens. There are plenty of tracks all around to walk and cycle. You can get close to the water too with yet again incredible views. Very peaceful and quite despite a lot of people walking and enjoying the outdoors. Would recommend!

Couldn't get a guided tour, but the castle is beautiful and has a beautiful, large garden. Just one little downside: I have never seen so many mosquitoes in all my life. Get some repellent, and you'll have a good time.

Palace was not open to the public. Very classical style and very nice garden around the castle.
