Nice place to see a castle
We were there for a slotophold. It was amazing to see the inside of the castle, and to sleep in a castle room :-) the dinner was good. The only minus was that the tables were too close to one another.
Absolutely lovely stay, can't recommend it enough, even during the pandemic.
It was mostly clean (found someone else's garbage under the bed) and a novel experience to stay in a castle, but the amenities and food did not reflect the prices. There were not all of the toiletries you'd expect, only hair dryer and soap. No curtains on our window, the TV didn't work (not an issue for us, but still), and no telephone to ring to reception (on the 4th floor with no elevator, I'd expect to be able to call to make a table reservation). The food in the restaurant was ok. I found the vegetables from the menu to be undercooked, and the food very simple. The wine menu was a very wrinkled piece of regular printer paper with unavailable wines simply crossed out (could easily be reprinted). Continental breakfast is not included with the room, is an extra 100 kr and very underwhelming. The grounds are very nice to walk around and enjoy sunny weather.

Nice hotel, but the rooms are old. Breakfast was 100dkk and not very good. Staying in the castle is a cool experience though.
We thought at would be nice to stay at a place different from the usual hotel. Unfortunately, the castle is quite run down and the room we stayed wasn't very exciting. Breakfast and dinner were okay, but service was very slow. Service overall is mixed. It was nice though to walk around the castle grounds and enjoy the garden.
