Absolutely great and classic Danish food. You don't need to add extra (I did - got a mountain of crispy pork barely able to stay inside the plate!). Really tasty and served with a smile.

It's okay. The salad for the fish plate wasn't fresh which is a bit sad when it's except for one slice of toast and two sticks of asparagus the only side. The breaded fish was very dry. Overall it's nothing special food wise, still 4 stars for the nice service.
They know how to fry fishes, I loved the Stjerneskud with a tasty toast !
It's an old lovely place with Danish traditional food. Bakskuld is just delicious! Prices are reasonable.
The meal was great, and the service was outstanding, the range of beverages and drinks was more than adequate. If anything, the coffee wasn't great, a bit watery and not a lot of taste to it, but nothing to lose a star for. Regardless of that, if you're looking for a bit of history of the town of Esbjerg, and real Danish food, I'd suggest this place, great food and comfortable atmosphere.
Lovely place to get a nice meal.
