Pejsegården is a time capsule from the 80s. Not much has changed since I was there some 40 years ago - even the lunch menu seems retro. Guess we'll see if it has changed at all 40 years from now. That's when I'll consider coming back....

We had dinner at the bistro called "Dillen". Food was a bit retro but they charged 29 DKK for 500 ml still water! This is what normally cost less than 3 DKK in a supermarket. Sorry. This is not OK. So we don't plan to come back.
I really dont understand why this hotel has 4 stars. The rooms havent been renovated for decades and the extra beds are so small that a only a 5 year kid can sleep in them. for thoose who likes coffee i can tell you that theres no coffe to bee seen in the hotel. The booking system is so old or bad that they could find out if my room was paid or not. Breakfast was the best tjing at the hotel. Finaly i could get i cup of coffee.
Great family hotel. Everyone here had kids so was a nice relaxed atmosphere. Heaps to do with the nice indoor pool, huge Lego room, arcade (games from 10kr) and the park and bouncy pillow outside. Oh. Bowling too in the restaurant was fun. The restaurant was ok value and the food was fresh and tasty. The room was a little small for 4 of us, but the WiFi and TV worked well. It was a little dirty, but nothing crazy. The bedding was clean and the beds comfy. It was about a 40min drive to Legoland which worked really well for us. It meant you can grab the great brekkie at 7 7.30 get showered and make it to the park as the doors open at 10am. Great for a quick drive back when I are all tired too. 2 mins to a supermarket and petrol station too.

Really lovely place, with free swimming pool and sauna. Clean and functional. Good the breakfast and really kind the staff! Very beautiful the bathroom!
