Hopelessly disorganized - slowest service. When the kitchen opens to a queue they tell you waiting time is 45 minutes to an hour...before they even start taking orders??? After about 15 minutes they started telling people the waiting time for food was two hours. The place was 1/3 full. Potential clients obviously walked away! The waiters stood around, but couldn't take orders as only the (one) waiter with the terminal could take orders. That waiter then started asking the other waiters in what order people had arrived so she could take the orders in the right sequence. Bizarre experience. It’s the restaurant that wants to fail. Oh the food...well I wish they hadn’t fried my fish for the full 45 minutes I waited for it. Shame in such a nice location...

Food was OK but far from exceptional. Pay attention: if you want potatoes instead of French fries you will pay 25 DKK more for a piece of (very) small unsalted potatoes. Service is very slow and even rough. One of the waitresses shouted to a German family asking for an empty plate for one of their kids. I thought Denmark was a (child) friendly and respectful country, Hyttefadet must be the exception. For me not worth a visit.

Never again! \We are not a sharing restaurant.\ Unbelievable. My four-year old is not allowed to take fries from my plate? I am paying for the food, woman! Incompetent, unfriendly, unhelpful staff. The food is typical for backwater fishing towns: fatty, salty, and unhealthy. Admittedly, the cucumber salad was nice, but the spoonful of it was not enough to compensate for the unpleasant atmosphere and rude behavior of the staff. Avoid at all costs.

An extremely disappointing meal, service was terrible, we waited an hour for our food and the portions were very small for the price, to the point that we had to buy food elsewhere afterwards. I strongly advise you to eat somewhere else!!

A nice small yacht harbor. Quiet and clean. Friendly staff. The water appears clean enough to swim in. Clean bathrooms and showers. A small supermarket with a good selection of products is near by for provisioning.
