Upstream Stories

Upstream Stories is located in Aarhus, Denmark on Høegh-Guldbergs Gade. Upstream Stories is rated 3 out of 5 in the category civic & social organization in Denmark. Upstream Stories is an NGO established by a group of trainers and youth workers that is focused on promoting participatory media for intercutltural dialogue and social inclusion. Our activities: 1. Local and international workshops based on participatory media (mainly digital storytelling and participatory photography) addressed to people at risk of exclusion (migrants, refugees, homeless, people living in deprived areas, people with disabilities and others); 2. Facilitators'​ workshops aiming at equipping civil society activists with the aforementioned methods; 3. Development of educational curricula and publications promoting participatory media.
