Very poor experience where we had a room with such a small bathroom, we couldn't believe it! We would actually call it a non-existing bathroom. When we saw the bathroom in the room next door, we were shocked about how Scandic would even call our room an upgraded Køge room (327)! Since the bathroom was so small, additional towels were needed, as the whole floor was getting totally wet, and even after 4 hours, no additional towels were delivered. The receptionist told us that all the rooms at the hotel had the same size. Not correct! He also said that there were no other rooms available. Not correct! Poor room, and certainly poor service. Don’t go there - is our recommendation!

The atmosphere of the hotel is very nice. Very friendly staff of a wonderful restaurant. The rooms are decent, but the bathrooms are a bit small. The TV is horribly slow to operate. I went there for business meeting over a few days, so we stayed at the hotel as well. Overall I'm very satisfied with the hotel, staff, restaurant, food and business features. And it is located in the middle of Århus with walking distance to a lot of sights and shopping opportunities.
Good location. One friendly and bright staff member. Expensive. The four stars is a mystery to me. I don't understand why others like this hotel. We will not stay here again.

Very nice hotel adapted from historical building, confortable, best breakfast in town, michelin listed restaurant, conveniently located, friendly staff. Now Scandic The Mayor.
Nice and clean rooms. Bathroom was cold!! It was almost like standing outside.
Central location. Breakfast included. Friendly staff. Bathrooms are old , inadequate shower curtains and no floor heating,...making it wet all the time.
