The old guy in the shop needs cilll out, calm down and maybe be a little more patient with those who buy parts from the store and choose to fix their bikes themselves. EDIT** I added a star for the availability of the tools in the first place (that is nice) and also for the helpfulness of the younger guys working in the repair shop they are definitely a little more helpful than the older bloke

Took 3 weeks to make a pretty standard bike service. It came out very expensive because they billed me for 4 hours - which I doubt they ever spent on my bike. 3 months later a pulley gear that they har replaced broke (bearing balls were were spilling out the side). They said it was my fault for not lurbicating it. I had never lubircated the old pulley for 3 years. A gear cable they fixed just broke the other day, and I could go on. If you use this shop, just buy the parts and fix it yourself out in their back yard, don't let them handle your bike.

Took a Brompton (purchased at Rask) in for repair. Two days later I noticed the rear tire had a HUGE bump Kevlar defect on the sidewall and was faulty. No idea how that got through their bike inspection, but it did. Another occasion, took a bike in for help in mounting a fender. They couldn’t be bothered finding the piece. Recommended I simply buy a new fender (but were not sure if that piece was available in a new set). They then recommended I go to the Internet. Today, I bought in a broken spoke from an very expensive Specialized Turbo Levo. In a second, he looked at the spoke and said he doesn’t know how to get a replacement spoke... for a well-known product they carry. Again, the store recommended I go to the Internet to find Specialized bicycle components instead of their store. Don’t know how to replace a spoke? Ok that’s a surprise and something I’d expect any bicycle store could do for their own line of products. Point taken. I will go to the Internet in future. Trying to support the local bicycle store didn’t seem to help me much. They are nice if your buying a large purchase or planning an extensive amount of maintenance. But looking for help with a piece or a small broken item? They won’t give you time of day.

Købte en cultima cykel for nogle år siden, efter et år hvor den ikke var brugt meget skulle følgende skiftes: Begge dæk, kæde, krans også var der galt med styr også. Sælger nægtede at udbedre skaderne på garanti. Siden er cyklens hydraliske system begyndt at lække... Jeg skrev en faktuel korrekt anmeldelse på truspilot som blev fjernet..... Jeg skulle have gået vidre med min klage til forbrugombudsmand da det ikke kan være rigtigt, at en cykel efter et år skal udskifte 90 procent af delene. Handler aldrig der igen! !!!

Vi havde set en cykel til min datter på nettet til en god pris, og da vi kom derind havde de sidste års model magen til, endda 200 kr billigere, det var et hit! Men det var ikke en god oplevelse at handle og personalet skændtes med hinanden. Ingen hjælp til at indstille cyklen og det virkede mest af alt som om man var til besvær. Der var en skramme på håndbremsen, men han ville ikke engang diskutere afslag. De havde travlt, så se kunne ikke klargøre cyklen før en uge senere, så jeg valgte selv at sætte lås mm. på, så vi kunne tage den med hjem med det samme, for at glæde en forventningsfuld 7-årig. Der indser jeg at bremserne går på, bagjulet ekser lidt og der er en skramme på pedalarmen. Det er jo ikke kritisk, men det jeg forventer bare at det spiller 100, når man køber hos en cykelhandler. Det burde netop være forskellen ift. Bilka/thansen o.l. Æv.
