SPOMAN Open Science

SPOMAN Open Science is located in Aarhus C, Denmark on Gustav Wieds Vej 14. SPOMAN Open Science is rated 3 out of 5 in the category plastics in Denmark. SPOMAN (Smart POlymer Materials And Nanocomposites) is an open industry-academia collaboration focused on a “backwards” innovation model in which generalized industrial needs are translated into fundamental research questions. In this way, we combine the virtues of basic research and the societal need for applicable results and industrial innovation. All research is carried out in the spirit of open science to generate knowledge of value – not only for the people involved, but to society in general. Hence, all scientific work is published in journals and made available through data respositories and international open science cloud services. We will publish raw datasets, stream live experiments and publish papers through open access. And in return, the SPOMAN projects will get feedback and data from interested researchers, companies and citizens from around the world.
