I have really enjoyed the visit here. The art was divided into sections with satisfactory description. I loved the balance between historical and modern art. However, the roof view is worth more in daylight. The staff was very very friendly! I would definitely recommend this place

One of the best modern art museums. Interesting exhibitions with insightful explanations. The views from the top (and the rainbow itself) is very nice, especially at sunset
Excellent museum. The entry price was reduced during my visit which made it even more valuable as their exhibitions are very good. The main attraction for me was far from home and boy - a larger then life statue of a boy in an interesting posture. On entering the museum Joana Vasconcelos Valkyrie Ran greets you and follows you through the different floors. However one of the main attractions of the museum is the rainbow at the top of the building which can be see from across town. It's really cool walking through the rainbow ring
Awesome experience! Great exhibitions about interesting and relevant topics. The rooftop ist also really worthwhile, with great views of the city and the rainbow walk. Really enjoyed it here.
Impressive collection of both classical and modern art. I enjoyed the architecture of the building and the whole setting, from the basement to the roof with the magnificent coloured circular promenade.
ARoS along with Louisiana Museum of Modern Art are probably the best Scandinavian art museums! About 20e entrance fee (but totally worth its price), ARoS has something to offer to each age group. Not to mention the Rainbow tunnel at the top of the museum is a fun experience for the whole family. There is a very nice restaurant and a cafe - totally worth the visit and the breathtaking views of Aarhus. Do not hesitate to visit even with small children.
