The campsite is a great stop for visits to Aarhus. You have about 9 km to downtown but there is a bus stop right at the door. Biking into town is also an option but be aware that Aarhus has a lot of hills so it is constantly up and down. You can get different sizes of pitches to accommodate anything from a tent to the biggest camper. There is also a small swimming pool if you want to cool down, and the owner is really nice and helpfull. There are small cabins on the site you can rent from 750-950 kr/day depending on size. They are newly build and I was very impressed with their quality. With so much going on for this camp site, why am I not giving it more than 3 stars? Well it's because there are some serious flaws as well. This is a camp site that clearly is in a renovation period, meaning there are some very nice and modern buildings like the reception and cabins, some that are starting to show age (the middle toilet building) and some that should had been torn down a long time ago (the toilet building next to the pool). Where most campsites today have free showers as part of the price you need to pay 5kr/4min here. This is a constant irritation when showering and reminds me of a site stuck in the past. In all this gives an experience of the service buildings below what you would expect. The pool area is not very big or inviting and during my stay the campsite was very windy. This is mainly due to that it's placed at the top of a hill and the vegetation is either sparse or not very tall. In general the site lacks the cosyness you find on a lot of other sites. I would say that it is a good site for a stop-over or 1-2 day visit to Aarhus, but I wouldn't book a 3 week stay here. But if you are mainly looking for a site to stay and maybe bring your own toilet and shower in your camper this can be a great site for you.

Very modern and excellent facilities. Just a little too close to E45 to be quiet.

Modern, beautiful, practicable, very well maintained.

This is one of only two campsites located within the local bus network of Aarhus (the second largest town in Denmark), and unusuallly for most Danish camp sites it is neither located by the sea or a lake, but inland! The facilities are not bad, with cabins for hire, convinience shop, cooking- and bathing facilities, play area and a swimming pool on site.

Quit a large site with some nice cabins. Some sanitary is old but there is also a nice new toilet building which is clean. Staff is friendly and they have a small shop and restaurant where also some bread can be bought.
