Absolutely amazing sushi!!! Had three different types of rolls and they were all great. Super fresh and flavorful. Highly recommended. Plus the place is quite modern-Japanese looking, simple but every detail influences in the experience. Staff is friendly and patient (specially when needed to speak English)

This place has a high level of service with very attentive staff. The menu is stunning and offer a wide variety of set menus with, either bare sushi menus or with add-ons like caviar and lobster. The drinks card is nice and the drinks are full of taste. This could easily be a 4 or 5 star place. The problem is the sushi. It is overly complex and topped with all kinds of garnish, the fish and rice are way too much in the background compared to the other ingredients and when you do try to focus on the rice and fish, the quality isn't all there. Considering that this is a very pricey place, such low quality sushi can only bring 3 stars.

The best sushi of my life! They have a vegan sushi menu! I started with the edamame beans, which were unbelievably awesome and then I had the super tasty and bombastic vegan nigiri menu with 11 different options! Totally recommend it and would come back to Aalborg, just to try it out again!

Very tasty food. Unfortunately it is very hard to get the waitresses attention. We had to sit and wait for a very long time before they noticed that we wanted help. 5 chefs and three waitresses and no-one paid attention. They also never came by to ask if the food was good or if we needed something else. When paying it became apparent that they did not keep track of who ordered what. If service had been great this would easily have been 5 stars, but because of the very annoying fact that they do not know service in restaurants, it is a one to two stars experience.
As asian who have been to japan, we have had our fair share of authentic japanese cuisine. We were impressed to find really fresh and well-made sushi in Denmark and Karma Sushiis is one of them.We were even more impressed when we saw that the people preparing our food were definitely not japanese or asian.
