Had waited for a few months with lockdown etc before venturing back to barbers and thought I would try Chao Chao as a treat. Had a haircut and shave with a female barber and was sadly disappointed, experience was nice I was offered beer and looked after but the actual haircut was not as good as other much cheaper alternatives in Aalborg. I have slightly longer hair and so perhaps this was a challenge but by slightly longer I mean it need scissors it’s not man bun length! As for the shave well I have had many shaves and never had so many nicks and cuts in a barbers but even this was better than the hair cut. But what capped it off was when I was asked if I wanted my eyebrows trimmed and I said only a little but then had a beard trimmer unleashed on them. I have only chosen to leave a negative review now as they still haven’t grown back properly after 3 months. I can’t speak for all the barbers in Chao Chao but there are many less expensive options in Aalborg that do a FAR better job.

What a wonderful place to be Jesus Ricardo Rodriguez Cabrero is an amazing barber I went to this establishment visiting from american I will say I defiantly will have him cut my hair again! The level of professionalism and kindness is phenomenal I highly recommend this barber! What an experience it was to be able to visit from The United States!

Gentlemens treat when it comes to the beard
Meget varierende kvalitet. Har nu været der to gang. Første gang var spot on - både hår og skæg! Ville klart anbefale. Anden gang var en fiasko, så det er med at vælge omhyggeligt, hvem der skal være din frisør.
Jeg har altid været kræsen angående frisør, men da jeg kom ind til Chao Chao behøvede jeg ikke at lede længere. Jeg har nu kommet der fast i fem år og servicen er helt i top hver gang. Både på barber og klipning.
Fantastisk service som altid
Bedste frisør i Aalborg, altid god stemning og glade mennesker. Desuden er klipningen altid helt perfekt.
